A: No. The device is provided with a wire that can be plugged into the charging port of your mobile. It derives its power from the mobile.

Q: Should I know which positions in the foot to check?
A: The device comes with a footplate that has holes which automatically aligns the subject’s foot with the positions to be tested. Testing is performed at 5 points on the sole.

Q: In what position should the testing be performed?
A: The subject should be lying on the bed or sitting with the legs stretched when the test is being performed. To prevent any bias, the subject may be asked to keep their eyes closed when the test is being administered.

Q: How long will it take to perform the test?
A: It will take approximately 5 -10 minutes to complete testing in both the feet.

Q: What kind of report will I get after testing?
A: You will get a colour-graded report that shows foot sensation levels in various areas of the foot. Areas of concern are shown in yellow and red.
