Ayati Devices

The Foundation of Ayati

Globally, diabetes affects over 500 million people. Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy (DPN) is a condition that impacts nearly 50% of individuals with diabetes during their lifetime. DPN is a significant risk factor for the development of diabetic foot ulcers and subsequent amputations. Diabetes is responsible for approximately 80% of all non-traumatic amputations.

Recognizing the critical importance of early detection and prevention, we have undertaken a mission to empower every healthcare professional to accurately identify DPN in its early stages, thus preventing the progression to diabetic foot ulcers and amputations.

We believe in the power of innovation and technology to transform healthcare and ensure a brighter, healthier future for all. Join us in our mission to change the course of diabetes-related complications. Together, we can make a lasting impact.

Milestones in Development

Ayati Devices had its humble beginnings within the walls of IIT-Bombay, where Nishant Kathpal, an MTech student at the time, embarked on a visionary research project. This project laid the foundation for what would become a pioneering venture.

Our dedication and innovation bore fruit when our prototype device, designed to screen for diabetic peripheral neuropathy, earned us the prestigious BIRAC Big Grant from the Government of India. This was a pivotal moment in our journey.

In February 2019, Ayati took the next major step by incorporating as a company. Subsequent years were marked by relentless research and development efforts, culminating in the launch of Vibrasense, our portable neuropathy screening device, in 2021.

Along this remarkable journey, we’ve been honored with multiple accolades, a testament to our commitment to excellence. We remain firmly focused on our mission to create innovative solutions for the diagnosis and management of diabetic foot problems.
